Case Study 1
Date: 2025 till now.
Client Name: Leading provider of school and student software.
Simple Description: Project to consolidate multiple data centers while providing support, migration, and hosting services.
Challenge: Multiple locations and a lack of platform expertise led to frequent application downtime, customer dissatisfaction, and platform abandonment.
SOLUTION:
Our team created a migration plan to consolidate multiple locations to provide centralized support for hardware and software. Multiple teams were involved to provide hassle-free migration, monitoring, and uptime guarantees.
RESULTS:
After migration, we improved platform stability, faster issue resolution, and the speed and reliability of the software deployment process. The team is also providing 24/7 hardware and software support so that the core team can focus on application development and customer success.
Case Study 2
Date: 2023 till now
2. Case Study Name: State Tax Application Hosting on HPUX
Client Name: Government, State
Simple Description: One of the US states was looking to take over hosting and support for its aging application responsible for state tax calculations.
Challenge: It was critical for the government agency to ensure uptime and application access. The aging local hardware was causing constant issues, resulting in downtime and access issues to the municipality’s offices.
SOLUTION:
Our team developed a migration plan to move the HPUX application from the local office and host it in our Denver Data Center. In addition, the DR plan was created for HPUX systems at geographically separated locations.
RESULTS:
The state can maintain 24/7 uninterrupted access to the application with the DR solution in place.
Case Study 3
Client Name: Large Manufacturing plants located in 7 countries.
Simple Description: A large manufacturer with a global presence was looking to centralize its software and place it in a safe location with backup and a DR plan.
Challenge: Multiple installations of the management software running on HPUX were spread across multiple locations and countries. Constant downtime and data synchronization issues were causing downtime in plant operations.
SOLUTION:
Combining multiple installations into one central and safe location. A DR location with live data synchronization was established to ensure 24/7 operation across all locations worldwide.
RESULTS:
All manufacturing plants can safely and reliably process orders without downtime. The company now has access to system support and engineers who can assist with its application.
Case Study 4
Client Name: Major Airline Manufacturer
Simple Description: To create a complete copy of the production system for performance testing purposes.
Challenge: Client had an extensive production system running on a farm of HP-UX servers. It was cost-prohibitive to acquire a hardware copy for testing. Still, real performance testing was needed to push the application to its limits.
SOLUTION:
The team was able to build a short-term, complete copy of the production system, including 100s of applications needed to run it. In addition to hardware and software support, our team conducted performance testing and provided metrics to the customer.
RESULTS:
Over multiple years, the customer was able to modify and tune the application to improve the platform’s performance and stability without the cost of a complete hardware purchase.
